·
This is a full scoring question if studied well.
·
Take a fresh page for this question.
·
Do not break the answer into
2 pages.
·
Learn the formats thoroughly.
·
Draw the box.

Letter
|
15 mts
|
1-2 pages
|
·
Wisely choose the letter which consumes less time.
·
Learn all the formats thoroughly.
·
Ideally, the letter must be
written in 3 paragraphs
Note: I feel
that a job application+ bio-data can take a toll on your time. But for some,
it is an easy scoring area. So choose wisely.

Article/ report
|
25 mts
|
2 pages
|
·
Always remember to write a
good title/heading.
·
Write the by-line.
·
Write a good introduction.
·
Logically arrange the ideas
into2-3 body paragraphs.
·
Underline core value points(ideally, 3 in a paragraph) if possible.
·
Write a good conclusion.
·
Once again double check your
first sentence and last sentence.
Note: I feel that a report is easier to write and score than an article.
In a report, you just need to write all the events that happened in
chronological order, but in an article, more logical sequencing of ideas is required.
But the final decision is yours and it is to be taken after reading both the
questions only.

Speech/ Debate

Structure:

Address the audience-greet
the audience-introduce yourself-introduce the topic.

Tips for Debate:
·
A debate too follows the same structure.
·
Write either ‘for’ or
‘against’ the motion. Don’t mix them up. Keep the motion as such in single quotes.
·
State clearly in the beginning whether you are ‘for’ or ‘against’.
·
All the points should be
congruous with your stand.

Ans: The semi-inflated
rubber ring played the most significant role in Evan’s escape. It was filled
with pig’s blood from the slaughterhouse in Kingston. It was mixed with
actual blood with 1/10th of its volume of 3.8 percent trisodium citrate.
